– Origin: Dai Thom 8 rice variety was selected from a cross between the mother variety BVN and the father variety OM4900
– Main features:
+ Dai Thom 8 is a rice variety with a compact plant style, leaf-shaped leaves, high spike leaf durability, narrow spike leaf angle, strong tillering, tolerance to intensive farming, high field purity, and good panicle emergence. Through a number of actual growing seasons, it has been shown that Dai Thom 8 adapts quite well, meeting the needs in terms of productivity, disease resistance and rice quality.
